About Rahdert & Mortimer, PLLC
Rahdert & Mortimer PLLC has been a fixture in the St. Petersburg legal community for more than 40 years. Founded in 1976 by Senior Partner George K. Rahdert, Rahdert & Mortimer has gained a reputation for excellence in a broad range of practice areas.
Known largely for its landmark victories in the US Supreme Court, Rahdert & Mortimer is nationally recognized for its contributions to the legal system. In addition to representation of the Tampa Bay Times, and other media organizations, Rahdert & Mortimer has nationally represented the Lutheran Church, and litigated large commercial and constitutional matters.
Throughout its history, Rahdert & Mortimer has been a leader in constitutional law, commercial law, real estate, disability law, and commercial litigation. We have a track record of success in local, state, and federal courts, as well as victories in multiple jurisdictions.
Our firm is multilingual and able to serve clients who speak primarily Spanish and Vietnamese.
We believe in Justice For All, and while we have the experience and expertise necessary to help large clients, we will not deny individuals or families who need legal aid.
As a small law firm with big ideals, we strive to meet the challenges of the ever-evolving legal world and to ensure that our clients are prepared to tackle the problems of tomorrow.
We are located in the historic Alexander Building on Central Avenue, just two blocks from the downtown St. Petersburg courthouse. The firm purchased the former Alexander hotel in 1990 and undertook extensive renovations to restore this architectural gem to its former glory and gain a place on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, the Alexander Building represents Rahdert & Mortimer’s long-standing commitment to the community, the integrity of our city, and our dedication to preserving client relationships.
